While inspecting driveways and sidewalks the inspector I looking for usability as well as any potential trip hazards that could have occurred as a result of settling/upheaving concrete or potholes. Driveways and sidewalks come in many forms and some require more maintenance than others. Eg. Concrete driveways typically require little maintenance while gravel drives require more grave and grading as time goes on. Asphalt drives typically require sealing to avoid potholes and cracks.
