Floor/Attic Structure

Part of a home inspection is listing what type of structure is supporting the attic and floor. Then the inspector wants to determine if it is doing its job to support the load. You want your attic structure to be free of any faults, cracks or bows to make sure that it will support the roof. The inspector also checks the floor structure to make sure it will support furniture, appliances and people living in the home.
